Message from the Principals

Dear Aurora Students and Families,

Welcome to The Greenhouse! We are continually inspired by the spirit of Greenmen Nation and the strides our team has made to nurture future-ready learners—students who are balanced, empathetic, resilient, collaborative, innovative and critical thinkers.

When we celebrate ourselves as authentic individuals, we shine brightly and reach potentials beyond what we had hoped or dreamed. Being celebrated and seen calls us to live by the most essential human values: compassion, trust, empathy, forgiveness, understanding, and love. We begin to recognize that the only limitations are the ones we place on ourselves—and that our worth is intrinsic. Celebration is contagious; it inspires those around us to do the same. This spirit of celebration will be our North Star as we move forward together.

In our Greenhouse, we recognize teaching as a celebration of learning. We value the process over the product and, therefore, embrace failure and mistakes as essential steps toward growth. We see collaboration as a celebration of one another as teammates. We lean into each other’s strengths and deepen our roots through shared trust, growth, and support. We celebrate ideas, honesty, and the trust we extend to one another to accomplish something greater than ourselves. Every day with students is a celebration of possibility. And in honoring ourselves as authentic educators who view our practice as an art, we nurture the roots that will grow Aurora Greenmen into future-ready learners. Our confidence in ourselves, in each other, and in our students will allow the Greenhouse to shine brightly!
